A. How to Care for Vinyl Floors

They say vinyl flooring isn't durable. This is not true.

Vinyl flooring can be durable and will last for years if you know how to care for it.

Maintaining a house is a big responsibility. That is why we have administrators, helpers, mothers to take care of the house, take care of the building, and make sure it comes comfortable and safe to live in.

At least once a week or once in two weeks, vinyl floorings must be polished neatly.

Before applying the wax, you have to sweep away dust.

Then wipe with dried wet towel the vinyl floors especially in the corners.

If you want, you can scratch gently - if there is thick black dirt. However, you don't need to do this if wiping with the towel cleans it already.

Let the floor dry.

After a few minutes, wax it with a colorless tint or wax or according to the vinyl tile color. Make sure you wax in one direction, just like you color in a coloring book. You have to choose a good floor wax (suited for your budget and your floor).

Let dry, do other housework.

After 4 hours more or less, scrub or wipe with a clean rag or floor cleaner. If you got a big space, you can use a floor polisher.

Sweep the floor. Use a good broom with a dust pan together. You don't sweep without a dust pan.

Repeat wiping the floor in the afternoon. Everyday, you can wipe vinyl floorings once or twice a day (AM and PM)

Spray the corners of the room with air freshener.

B. Cleaning Products for the Bathroom

1. Powdered soap or cleanser - Use this to clean tiles, walls, bowl, sink. 
2. Muriatic acid or Zonrox bleach - Use to whiten the bowl, everyday. 
3. Bowl cleaner with a medium handle - So it could extend cleaning inside the bowl. 
4. Scrubbing pads - One for the bowl seat, another one for walls. Use soap and clean water. Let dry. 
5. Old newspapers - You can use old newspapers to clean mirrors and glass windows. 
6. A small brush - You have to brush the sink and tip of faucet. 
7. Soft medium brush - Use this to clean dippers, pail, etc. 
8. Lysol/ air freshener/ scents/ toilet duck for bowl water - This is an option, but at least once a week you can freshen up your toilet. 
9. Magic Mop - This mop is good for small toilets to maintain cleanliness. It dries water spills if exhaust fan is not enough. 
10. Small garbage can/plastic - Put plastic lining and dispose trash everyday.

Take it from me, I am a mother. Remember "Cleanliness is next to Godliness."

A simple clean house drives away insects and creeping germs.
