What Is A Reflecting Telescope
Source:Ruilong Time:2012-4-19A reflecting telescope is slightly different than the telescopes that often come to our minds. A reflecting telescope is one that works by reflection.
As the light enters the telescopes tube, it bounces of a mirror at the back of the telescope, which comes back up to near the top, where it meets a secondary mirror, which leads the light into our eyes, through a lens.
Because of these slight differences in operation, you can tell a reflecting telescope, by the size. A reflector telescope is much wider than a refractor, and also the part where you view, is at the top, at the side, rather than the back, as in refracting telescopes.
