Astronomy is a great subject, and one which more people should get into. However, the truth to why there are not that many specialist telescope stores, is that people interested in astronomy are in there minority. This is not like a grocery store that has everyone wanting the products or needing them.

As such, it is hard to find these stores. Though realize it is not impossible to find telescopes for sale, and with some research, you will be well on your way to first buying a model, and then being able to take advantage and get started in backyard astronomy!
