Different Makes and Models of Binoculars

Published 2010/12/13 17:58:00 - Ceramic Ball

Everybody knows how overwhelming it can be when it comes time to choose between different makes and models of Binoculars. But what it really boils down to is what are you going to do with the binoculars and how much are you willing to spend on your binoculars. Just remember that the most expensive binoculars are not always the best binoculars. I myself had a real expensive set of binoculars, and I ended up not using them, and I replaced them with a set of cheaper binoculars. It just depends on what you are comfortable with. I just want to let you know what is all out there and what the cost of some of these binoculars are.

Here are some of the major name brands that you might be familiar with or that you have seen advertised in stores. You have: Bushnell Binoculars, Burris Binoculars, Leupold Binoculars, Pentax Binoculars, Nikon Binoculars, Tasco Binoculars, and Sightron Binoculars. There are a few more brands, but these were your most common ones.

Well to break it down you have two main kinds of binoculars. You have auto-focus binoculars and you have the manual focus binoculars. I personally like the auto-focus binoculars. I like it when you see something out there I can pick up my binoculars and look right at it rather than having to try and focus the binoculars so I can make out the object. The auto-focus binoculars cost the same as the other binoculars. So there is no cost difference.

Binoculars come in many different strengths, depending on how far you want your binoculars to see. They range from seeing from 2 yards to 1,000 yards. Here are is a tip, the bigger the number the longer you can see. For example you have a Nikon Monarch 8x42 Binoculars, and then you have a Nikon 12x42 Binoculars. You will be able to see farther with the 12x42 rather than the 8x42. Will do another one lets say you have a Nikon Monarch 8x42 Binoculars, and a Nikon Dream Season 10x36 Binoculars. You can see farther with the 10x36 than the 8x42 binoculars.

You can get binoculars almost in any color including: black, brown, blue, red, green, gold, and real-tree camoflouge. Some binoculars also come so that they are waterproof. Binoculars cost anywhere from $15.00 to $800.00. Like I said earlier it all depends on how much you want to spend, and what you want them for. The nice thing about binoculars is that they are very universal for whatever you might be doing. You might use them for bird watching, hunting, hiking, camping, or even take them to your favorite football game when your way up on top of the stadium.

I hope this gave you a little bit more information about what is all out there for binoculars and that you don't have to buy the most expensive pair to satisfy your needs.
